Dr. Rodney De Palma BSc MB BS MSc MRCP(UK) graduated with a first class BSc in Neuroscience and an MBBS from the University of London (Royal Free/University College London) with distinction and was Proximeaccessit to the University Gold medal. His junior cardiovascular training was at Barts, Homerton and the Royal London Hospitals, with higher specialist training at the London Chest Hospital and The Heart Hospital, London.
In addition, he has undertaken a junior fellowship at Centre HospitalierUniversitaire Vaudois in Lausanne Switzerland and a senior fellowship at the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.He is a specialist in cardiology and cardiovascular intervention (coronary and structural disease). He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and member of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular intervention He is co-editor of ‘Percutaneous cardiovascular interventional medicine’ and an associate editor of Open Heart journal.Dr.
